AWS Activate now has a dedicated AI track with credits up to $100,000, and the self-serve tier no longer needs an accelerator referral.

Activate has three tiers. Self-serve gives $1,000 with only a business email and a website. Portfolio tiers reach $100,000 but require a referral from a partnered accelerator or VC.
Credits apply to Bedrock and SageMaker as well as ordinary compute, so inference is covered rather than only hosting. They expire two years after issue and cannot be applied to support plans or Marketplace purchases.
Applications take roughly two weeks at the portfolio tier and are usually instant on self-serve.
